1st day – Arrival in Provence

Welcome in Marseille-Provence Airport.

Guided tour of the Castle – Les Baux de Provence
Located at the heart of Provence and dominating the town of Les Baux-de-Provence, behind its walls the Château is home to the remains of the former town of Baux. Free time in the village.

2nd day – Luberon area

Breakfast

In the morning, guided tour of traditional lavender production - Apt
Since 1895, the Agnel family has been producing lavender and other aromatic plants from generation to generation. Guided tour of the distillery, floral waters tasting, video.

In the afternoon, guided tour of an oil mill - Apt
The mill produces oil using the traditional method, with millstones and a press.During the harvesting period, visitors can watch the miller at work.Outside the season, a system of panels illustrates the production process. Around the mill, in an olive grove, other panels tell the story of the olive, the terroir and agricultural work.

Tour in the Lavender Museum – Coustellet
Georges Lincelé founded the Lavender Museum to shine the light on the significance and beauty of true lavender, the symbol of Provence. The museum started as an extension of the lavender farm, and is housed in a traditional Luberon farmhouse, where no detail is overlooked.Travel to the heart of the universe of true lavender, and enjoy a lively, instructive and fun journey, with films, unique collections, and interactive events…

3rd Day – Vaison la Romaine

Breakfast

In the morning, free tour around « Le Mont Ventoux » and « Les Dentelles de Montmirail »
Mont Ventoux peaks at 1912 metres and is known as the Giant of Provence. Its majestic silhouette dominates the landscape and is classified as a unesco biosphere reserve.The word Montmirail comes from the Latin (Mons mirabilis) for admirable mountain, and is a good description. The finely-chiselled seemingly lacy hills in the Dentelles are a stunning backdrop for the villages and vineyards. Here, the climate and vegetation is pure Mediterranean. Aromatic herbs, green oak, Aleppo pine, and of course vineyards.

In the afternoon, guided tour of Vaison-la-Romaine upper town
This part of vaison-la-Romaine is very attractive, with lots of narrow steep streets winding up the hill past medieval houses, through vaulted passages that lead to small squares with 18th century fountains, and numerous small architectural highlights such as ornate doorways and carved stone windows.

4th day – Lavender in Drôme area

Breakfast

In the morning - Guided tour through the landscapes of Lavender
With a local guide, discover landscapes and lavender fields through charming villages: Grignan, Taulignan, Clansayes. Study the differences between lavender and lavandin. Workshop of essential oil, massage oil.

In the afternoon, guided tour of the « Château de Grignan »
The medieval castle fortress was altered for the first time in the 16th century, then transformed in the 17th century into a luxurious residencee by the illustrious François de Castellane Ornano Adhémar de Monteil. Despite a prestigious career and glorious feats of arms in the service of Louis XIV, he will remain for posterity the son-in-law of the Marquise de Sevigne.Badly damaged during the Revolution, the chateau was patiently restored by later owners, then acquired by the town of Grignan in 1979. It has been classed a historic monument since 1993.

In the afternoon, guided tour of the « Plants and garden’s house » in Buis-les-Baronnies
You’ll have a rare opportunity to discover unspoilt nature in the Buis-les-Baronnies region, with Mt. Ventoux on the horizon. It’s home to many aromatic and medicinal plants and to lime-trees, along with the scents and colours of lavender, vines, olives and apricots.
